I ordered a water pump off evilbay but the gasket was damaged during transit, It's nothing major, It should be fine with a bit of sealant, I sent the seller some photo's and he has offered to replace it but I can't be stuffed waiting until he get's back from holidays, silly season and all.

So whaddya rekon, She'll be right?
or
Replace it.

I've often fitted waterpumps with goo only, without an issue.
But then again I am a rough bugger :))

Goo it up and always monitor for leaks, as once you loose the coolant there is often no heat transfer to the temp sensor so you see the temp guage indicating normal while the engine / head cooks.
