1 How healthy is your engine, what tyres,what gearing
2 How healthy is your engine, Get some patience
3 Need more information why you are slow
4 It is a very light brick, pushing wind, and wind will push you. What do you expect? 33's fixed my problem in the wind. But i needed 6.5's and my 1.3 was dieing so i had a 1.6efi. Even still, in the wind, you feel it.

So you're on stock 205/70/15 tyres? Hmm... Shouldn't have any troubles then...

On another note, why the 2 inch body lift for stock tyres...?

My 1L LWb would do 140 with stock tyres. Something must be wrong for you to struggle at 100 :?

Less than changing to a cruiser..... $4K or less. Depends how much you can do yourself, and how cheap you get the motor etc. Can and has been done for less than $2k.

My X-90 conv owes me $600 :wink:

DIY conversion? Or at a workshop...

Workshop= = 1000s....

DIY, I'd still be budgeting $1k...

For now, give it a good service, new plugs and leads, fresh oil, set the timing etc etc... Then take it from there...
