i think its the new 4wd atcion they put some efs springs in a sierra.
said they were happy but the springs are very hard and would pull a leaf if you want flex. the pics of it flexing weren't very good.

I am going to change my sig to read if you want sierra springs you can bolt in by OME
if you want to save a few $$ and fiddle the leaves yourself get Kings
if you want lots of flex build your own RUF
if you want to waste money and have a harsh riding shitheap that sags quickly by any other brand

having dealt with both i would say go the old man emu. with ome you have the knowledge that it has been tested and matched to suit the vehicle. and ome shocks are very good quality. the prop with efs is the springs had too much arch and even aftermarket shocks were topping out. the ride of efs wasn't too bad...i've driven alot worse, but the ome will last.

the other reason i got the efs springs was they were in stock and i'd have to order the omes in

Out of curiosity, how much are the OME's and how much is EFS. I got quoted some ridiculous price for OME's from a relative that works at ARB. Told him if I was going to pay that amount, I would purchase a set of rockcrawler springs from 4wd1.com

Yep, I got told around $300 a pair for OME from ARB, like I said, from a relo that works there. I think he may have looked up the wrong application

these prices are from the catalogue, and full retail. the old springs were expensine but not the dakars, and the dakars are much better.

for the dakars i got quoted about $100 each for fronts $110 each for rears and then the rest adds up to about $1000. EFS although out of town from here are about $1200 as seen in the new 4x4 monthly

Yeh, that is for the whole kit. It's got to be noted too, that the guy from 4 x 4 monthly added extra leaves to it as well as he tows stuff with it. Would explain why it has a stiff ride, and no flex.
