Hi.
About a year ago I fitted a new rad into my Stockman.
I had trouble finding one as they are different to the 1.3L and not often stocked here.
It was new from India but now the fins are crumbling to dust at the slightest touch.
Does anyone know where I can get a better quality replacement?
thanks

I had the same problem years ago with my 1 lt SJ40 and solved it by going to a wreckers and finding a radiator that would fit in the space available and had the hose connections on the correct side - made mounting adapters and it ran fine for years.
Just can't remember what the car it came out of was but there were a lot that would have gone in.
Tony

A radiator specialist can re-condition and re-core yours easily,
assuming you have that option.

Just rang them: $295 plus postage. new, made in Thailand: is that too many notes?

You need to decide that.
I paid $250 for a new 1.3 radiator 5 years ago,
so sounds fair to me.
postage can't be too much.
