Is anyone running the sky hi steer kit?? I flexed my car up last night (it's running spoa with standard leaves) and it's binding on the arm/leave as you would expect.

Im interested on some reviews as it looks like a solid setup and more in my price range then a snake kit

anything from snake is really expensive. If the car is driven on the road talk to an engineer about the kit.

The sky kit is good. But keep in mind that it will cost as much to ship as it will to buy.

Yes, I know snake shit is expensive.
Yes, te car is driven on road but that's beside the point whether it is engineered or not. I couldn't care less.

I want to know about te kit, not what's engineerable or not.

I've had a snake racing highsteer kit. Had issues with it on my diff so it now sits in my shed gathering dust.
Now I run the sky highsteer.

Identically they both drive the same. The sky unit was a bit of a hassle to install. The rod ends need to be fitted and bolted tight before securing the arms to the knuckle/caliper bolts. This is inconvenient at best. Especially when you need an alignment done.

Also, depending on how much flex you get the sky unit can have clearance issues around your chassis. I've squashed brakelines and the mount clips with mine. Had to extend the bumpstops and relocate the brake line clips on the chassis to suit.

At the end of the day both options are fine.
The snake racing unit is ideal if you're getting engineered (my car is engineered with this). However some people have issues with them causing axle seal alignment problems.

The sky unit is always questionable because it mounts to bolts not designed for steering forces.

I got the sky full high steer kit, its goes well, no bump steer, strong as, easy to instal etc, wouldnt go back...

i know its expensive but suzistore have a copy of the one they made for my sierra which was engineered in WA (its made from a specific steel and is 1 machined piece each side). Theyre open tomorrow morning 8-12 WA time (2hrs behind east coast) if you wanted to quizz them on it.

At the very least its in stock and shipping wont cost too much.

the only thing you need to know is its designed for a minimum of 15x7 -15mm offset rim, otherwise the rim will foul the steering arms.
