Hi all...
I'm mounting a power steering cooler today and looking at where to run the tubing etc.
My question is this, does it matter if the cooler or hoses are higher than the reservoir?
I'm wondering if it a potential air trip that I should avoid but the instillation will be heaps easier if the hoses run higher.

My guess is the same as yours, that you're going to get air pockets in there.
I mounted my res up high, off the radiator support bracket
and the cooler down low behind the grille
Is there any reason in particular you want to have the cooler up high? If you really need to mount it up high you coul put in a bleed valve to bleed out the air. You could make up a little bleeder in line with hose tails on each side and a normal ole brake bleed nipple. That would allow you to put a hose on it and bleed it without getting fluid everywhere.
Of course the easiest way would be to mount the cooler down lower.
