Looking to buy a G16A in EC preferably with under 100,000K on the clock. Must be issue free and ready to go. Also, need to be able to get it to Perth.

Was gonna buy a rebuilt Vit 8v 1.6, but running it in on LPG is gonna be a problem... a low KM 2nd hander will have to do (if I can find )

or is there a reason lpg is bad to run on rebuilt engines???

Yeah, that's what i'm after, just an 8v. I've gone off a rebuilt motor as there's no guarantees the top chrome rings will seat when I run it in, and i'm finding bugger all info to paint a clearer picture, at $2500 I can't take a gamble.

I need a motor sooner rather than later, if I have a new motor detonate on me i'm gonna be in a nice little $$$$$ hole

An 8v 1.6 with less than 100,000km will be incredibly hard to find. Don't forget that they stopped using that setup in 94

Yeah... just hoping I luck out. Closer to 100K than 200K is preferable, but understood the options are thin on the ground

What about finding someone who wants to rebuild one as well, getting yours done and into their zook, then getting theirs done (at their expense of course) and swapping out the freshly run in one into yours, and the freshly rebuilt one into theirs?

I'd love to do that... but it's a whole lotta effort, finding someone else willing to play along would be the $60,000 question

What about finding someone who's setting up to do an engine conversion or something? Stick your engine in their rig for the run in, then take it out and put it in yours and help them put theirs in for their trouble or something?
