Its under a small removable plate right near gear stick, looks like power going to it. Anyone know what it could be used for? another 12v or input for something? In my 2006 GV

Yellow plug or conduit = Airbag or other explosive expensive thing, dont touch!

I believe the GV were made with a generic wiring loom so the manuals and autos use the same loom. That plug could be for any number of switches installed in GV's sold around the world.

Could it be for the optional electric sunroof?

Don't be scared of yellow plugs. My guess is its for the power switch for an auto.

Just found out....Built4 was on the right track. they are for seat warmer switched...which is why they are on both sides.
seat warmers..dont get them on a Jimmy I am sure! :)
