Hey mate. I'm about the same progress thru the conversion as you are.
Hope this helps
1. Water pump piping
2. Thermostat housing
3. Water pump piping
4. I used a 28mm water temp sensor adapter for this and kept it utilized for the temp on the dash, and used the baleno one for the ecu.

Let me know if there is anything else you need.
Cheers
Adam

i see what u mean now :) where did u get that from? looks nice and shiney
so when u say the return inlet hose does that mean ur connecting it between the thermostat housing and the radiator?
and how do u connect up the wire to it?

Hi,

I did this conversion bout 6 months ago.

The baleno temp sender has 3 wires on it. On is the ground, one goes to the ECU, the remaining one will drive your existing temp guage.
I think it is the yellow/white wire on the temp connector that you will use for the temp guage. The LightGreen/Red is the wire that goes to the ECU.

For the heater hoses. I connected the one from the heater tap to the thermostat housing on the rear on the head. The other one connects to the end of a standard Sierra water pump outlet tube(large metal tube running from the rear of the water pump). The Throttle body heater tube also connects to water pump outlet tube just behind the water pump.

Hope this helps.

Yeah that's the one mate, thermostat housing to top radiator pipe.
With connecting it ill change the plug on the zook wiring harness i imagine.
Here is a link to the product.

Now i have a question for you ;)
Where did you find the joiner for the radiator hoses? I've been looking everywhere.

Ohhhh man I think I've connected my radiator pipes wrong. I connected the thermostat to the bottom of the radiator... I just sort of guessed it from a pic I saw from cairnszooks build thread. I couldnt really tell what way it was supposed to go.

I just used some random hose pieces I bought from precision auto spares. I joined them just using an off cut from
The baleno water pump pipe. Im using the sierra water pipe so I decided to cut a few bits off the baleno one. I'm also using a custom thermostat housing and swift thermostat cap made by bluesuzy.

Cheers heaps for the link. Il probably buy it. I'm going to see if running the wire into the baleno water temp sensor plug work first
