Hey guys, im in the middle of servicing my free wheel hub and have run into dead ends trying to source a set of gaskets for it... can anyone help me out and point me in the right direction to find some???

Sikaflex (construction adhesive), or a gasket goo such as silastic will do the job.

Id just use gasket goo. If its good enough for a gearbox it should be more then enough for your hubs.

LOL, it works for carbys so why not do that for hubs...

Actually you can buy a sheet of gasket paper and cut that...

AISIN hubs are standard across many Jap vehicles, it's small internal details like Spline count, shaft size and body offset that changed between vehicles.

If you don't have a Suzuki dealer near you, try Toyota (40,60, 75, 80 Cruiser, Hilux), Holden (Jackaroo, Rodeo), Isuzu, Daihatsu and Mazda. My local Toyota dealer has them in stock, and they're cheaper than having to buy a packet of Corn Flakes. Have a read of THIS thread.

Yeah thanx 303zook. I read that link and then rang Toyota and quoted them that part number but no joy... It's all good I'm just gonna cut my own from some blank gasket paper... Thanx for the help guys.

That part number in that thread wasn't for the gaskets, it was for the o-ring seal as requested by the OP who started the thread. Did you ask them for Landcruiser (or Hilux) Freewheeling Hub gaskets? I'm surprised they had no listing or stock for them. I bought them for cheaper than a roll of gasket paper from SCA!

I went to an auto store to pick up the gasket paper and the guy goes "gees that looks alot like the toyota ones"!?!?!? no shit... thats what i was saying to everyone i called... anyways, bottom line is i managed to stumble upon them... My free wheel hubs are now smiling at me!

Give the Bayswater store in Melbourne a ring and ask to speak to Cameron. Tell him you work for 'Key Constructions' and are after the suzuki free wheeling hub gasket for a "SJ413, 1985, 1.3 zook" (they are all the same, but it works out better when you have specifics ) and he will sort you out. (thats my account with them and he knows my zook craze ) I have gotten the gasket from them before, and they definatlyt have the bugger. Altho, as mentioned in this thread, a smear of gasket good (I'd personally recommend 3bond) works just as good as a gasket!
