buy a Vitara, there is nothing better that out driving full size 4wd's in what they'd call a softroader, it's priceless.

they're a comfortable daily driver with decent off road ability with some simple mods.

From the description you have given above a Vitara would suit your needs better. A sierra as a daily is just rough, un-comfy and very expensive to fuel if you mod it for off road.

A Vit or even a GV would suit better. EFI will motor along the Hwy even with lift and 30's easily.

Vits and GV's are getting cheaper these days. Bohuler got his GV for $5200 reg and RWC. And they are very easy to lift.

As never speaking from experience of owning both, i've had my vit for about 4 years now and I love it to bits. Its very comfortable, has Power steer, Aircon, and will eat the freeway to bits... im looking at a forced induction upgrade to mine shortly, but only cause im looking at running 31/32" Tyres on 235 / 75 R15 tyres it flew..

i have both a modified sierra and a stock vitara. the sierra gets driven every day
and i have only driven the vitara once and that was because i needed to move a bookcase.



so if ya need to move furniture around vitaras might be the go.
