nar wobble is caused by other things, and the damper masks the feel of that through the steering...

i mean what is what we traditionally call "bump steer" actually called... when something grabs the tyre and steers the car?

haha i've never had a thumb nearly go missing, but once i climbed up a rock ledge at 6000rpm and suddenly got traction, which put the drivers side front into a rock and spun the wheel from full lock LH down to full lock RH down. Gave me the worst friction burn ever as the impact took my hand off the wheel and my wrist pressed against the wheel as it spun. stung for days! lol

so, "oww my fucking wrist!!!" it is then?

Masks probably isnt the right word. If virtually every manufacturer sticks steering dampeners on their vehicles I'm guessing they see them necessary.

Why do they stick shocks on each sprung corner of a car?
