What motor and how much extra does it weigh over standard and do you have a bull bar, winch etc etc etc.

Cause if you have to much weight in the front the 3 inch lift may only go up to 1 inch.

Lots more info and we all sure can help you.

If by "shit all" you mean 168kg, then yes, they weigh shit all. I'd wager thats a good 90kg more than your current motor. And the 6sp would also weigh another 30-40kg over your current box.

The Ecotec V6 weighs 178kg. A 10 second google search told me this.

do you plan on hitting boost before redline? would end up far cheaper to turbo your current engine may not make a 190kw but would definitly get up and boggie... a gt30 turbo is far to big, a t25-t28 turbo's, even wrx turboes are ideal for the application

v6 commy motor along with a 6 speed manual is far to much, dont know why anyone would bother trying to do this. would destroy the car that it was manafactured to be. even the 1.3 with basic breathing mods would be more then enough to push a jimny up a hill let along adding some reduction gears.

anyway, goodluck with your project

I would be using a 1.6 bottom end then boring it around 40 thou to get more capacity to spool the turbo up with a decent merge collected manifold etc it shouldn't be to bad gt28 might be better

X2.

If you are going to do 25% of what you are planning, springs would be the LAST thing you'd be looking for - EVERYTHING is going to get moved so it's pretty irrelevant what springs are in it.

Is it going to go wheeling at all?
There's nothing wrong with the 1.3\1.6 for the job they perform.

Jimny's aren't made to handle 200kw

Buy a patrol and stick a V8 in that if you want a really powerful 4wd

you wont be able to lift it with the driveline you want as your rear drive shaft
will end up being two yokes welded together.
