Hi guys,
I have a LWB Vitara sitting out the back collecting dust. Its a bit rough but may be a good project or have some parts worth something to someone.
The most notably bad stuff: All panels have some scratches and 4x4 ware and tare but could still be used accept the bonnet and front drivers side panel over the wheel have been bent out of shape and the rear door has some marking from an oversize tyre rubbing against it. The sills are in really bad shape. Rust has got to them and my attempt at repairing them has not worked. The chassis would be straight but again is suffering from a bit of rust. Unsure on the extent. The floor of the body also suffers from rust and now has big holes in it from me trying to cut it out. The transfer case is destroyed but I have a new one here ready to be fitted. There are no CVs The drivers side wheel baring is destroyed which was the cause of me giving up on this car.
The real salvageable stuff: Before I gave up on the car it was still driving well in 2wd. This means the engine is ok. I have not been able to start it recently as a took the battery for my new car. The rest of the good includes the diffs, drive shafts, gearbox, fuel tank, filters, back drum brakes and there is new transfer sitting there too.
So basically most of the running gear is here and working with a few exceptions.
Im not sure is there is anything else worth mentioning but if you would like to question anything please feel free to send me messages.
Im looking to get $800 for the car as a complete wreck or in parts.
Regards, Ben
