hi mates. just after quick info on how to rebuild front caliper. i watched a couple on youtube but they didnt have the metal clip sorta thing that holds it in so im not sure how to do it.

I have tried it, not an easy job if you haven't done it before. I would suggest asking someone who has done it before to help you.

On a note that may help the original poster - where can one find the clips that hold the brake pads in. I have lost a few over the years and it seems to cause some unwanted departure of brake pads....

im thinkn the metal ring/clip sorta thing may have been inside the rubber seal. will check. if so it looks like a easy job. just the youtube ones didnt have this extra bit but it mught have come out of the seal

I know the lux ones are fairly easy, what makes the zook ones so hard ?

good work on the holder clips link. put all mine bak on to descover im missing one side of the clips. will need to purchase some of them ones
