Has anyone had experience with Blupac brand springs? im more interested in there "comfort" springs.
Just wondering if the lengths are correct and how they ride.
and what should shackle angles be, im after flex and a good ride. i very rarely tow or carry loads.
These springs come with 4 leaves in the front and 4+1 in the rear would removing 1 in the front and 1+1 in the rear be ok?

i havent had them, but i have read of people who use them on here,
you might find some info in a search

but as far as i know they will fit in and work but are probably not the best quality and seem to sag,

i have what is known as the "old man emu, commo-hiace" set-up which works well and is fairly similar in price to the blupac suspension, easy to find if you have a search

you will have to source parts from a few different places but overall it is considered the better option for a cheap lift

other guys with more knowledge will have a say no doubt.

hope it helps

Jesse

I have Blue Max springs supplied by another Ebay seller, onlineautoparts. These are the same springs supplied by Blupac (they do not make their own springs). The ride was ok but the right hand rear sagged by 40+mm in approx 3000km. The suppliers have honored the warranty and have sent the springs they normally supply, EFS brand to replace them. They look like a heavier duty spring but they say they are 'comfort' springs so time will tell when I have finished fitting them. They also appear to have more lift than the Blue Max. I have only fitted the right rear so far but that corner is now much higher than the rest of the car. I am told that they are 65mm lift as against less than 50mm for the others.

I sent them an email. they asked for photos, decided that r/h/rear was at fault but sent 1 front and 1 rear. turned out the ones they sent are different make- EFS. then they offered another rear so I paid $40 for an extra front to give me a complete set of the EFS which do appear to give more lift. I just hope they ride ok, they appear to be a heavier spring.

I had Blupac 2" lift in the Nissan Patrol I just sold and they seemed good for the money. Those springs were Lovells.

Got the Blupac 2" kit for the Jimny and they supplied King springs. Either they keep having fall outs with the suppliers of they Have done some research and work out who makes the best for each of there kits and its application.

Good warranty. I rate them.

Online autoparts sell an EFS spring, bush and u bolt pack for 550. this ends up being more expensive than the blupac kit once u add shocks and shackles.
I believe EFS are a more reputable manufacturer, do they make good quality leaf springs ?
