I've been trying to finish my G16B conversion but have run into issues getting it to start. Everything is hooked up as per wiring diagram - all grounds grounded, all sensors hooked up and getting power, all power supplied, fuel relay kicks in for 2 secs when ignition is switched on, fuel rail pressurised, starter cranks BUT... no spark or injector pulse.

I've gone over everything ten times and can't work it out - Now I'm thinking that maybe this car had an immobiliser? Obviously if it did, I won't be able to start this bad boy without that immobiliser and the immobiliser antenna and key. I'll be taking a look on the weekend to see if the car (which I think is still where I left it) does have an immobiliser, but in the meantime...

Anyone in Brisbane keen to let me try my ECU in their Baleno coil-pack converted zook? Obviously I don't want to plug your ECU into my wiring loom in case it fries it, but there would be no harm in doing vice versa. Happy to pay in beer for the favour. I'm southside, camp hill but can bring my ECU (and beer) to you - would REALLY appreciate it.

Just looking at the wiring now and now I'm not so sure - the pinout as per PJzook shows that C10, C11 and C21 should go to the crank and cam sensors if no immobiliser - and mine go to the right spots... So maybe the immobiliser isn't the issue...

I'll get out there tomorrow and test it. I ran an ohmmeter over it this arvo and it was doing something.. I figured if it was showing any resistance, and that resistance was changing when cranking, it wasn't busted.

No 12v signal from crank sensor.

Hooked up the check engine light and it flashes continuously when the key is on ignition. A bit of googling tells me that this is an immobiliser issue - any one else thing otherwise? Went back to the donor car to see if the immobiliser (if fitted) was still there and the car was gone.

Anyone in Brissy able to test my ECM for me? Beer/cash offered as payment.
