Are the softops all much of the samness or is there a quality difference between different sites? ie. austops, ebay, suzistore. it seems the price is the only thing that changes.

there is a difference in quality between them - especially the ebay ones.

I have seen a lot of different soft-tops over the years. Austops are the best. Repaired/Old Austops are second best.

When it comes to cheaper ones made here in oz (I can't speak for bulldog trimming as I haven't seen one of theirs) they seem a bit inferior - the canvas isn't really tight, the fit isn't perfect etc.

Exactly. Dave's work is second to none. He uses only high grade canvas and he spends alot of time to ensure his designs are water tight and don't flap etc.

Austops are only selling Bestops now, they have a few odd colours left for vits I believe. They told me they couldnt get Australian supplies any more for a good price...
