I did a search but couldn't find anything helpful. Just after some information about what's involved in doing a spoa on my 95 Sierra with standard suspension. Is there anything I need to change? What are the pros and cons?. Sorry if this has been asked before or if it seems really obvious

CONS:
You are in QLD, so forget it.
What are you trying to achieve? Are you trying to fit a particular size tyre? Or do you just want poser lift?
What sort of terrain do you drive?

You did a search on SOA and didn't find anything useful????
SOA is illegal in QLD so unless you ONLY drive private property forget it.

pretty sure just from being on here for like 6months, that its been covered a million times. so im not sure about the whole search thing but anyways... to run 31's on a sierra you can run 2" body lift and a little chopping with some bumpstop extensions and that will get you 31's under it... (i own a much more comfortable vitara so don't take it the be all and end all on what i say) spring lift in no Vehicle will allow you to run bigger tyres... mainly because the idea is the vehicle articulates more than the stock standard. therefore a body lift is the way to go Edit : (body lift will be the cheap lift to attaining bigger tyres)

spring over involves alot of work, if you have a nt i wouldent evin try, but to do it u need high steer, plus a lot of other stuff and an engineers cert, as far as i know in qld they wont allow it

Some hammering should be all that's needed with a body lift.
Only need bump stops with just a spring lift. I had 31's with 2" spring and extended bumpstops. Wouldn't do it any other way.
