Sorry guys, real life got in the way for a couple of days there – here is an edited version of the emails:
Freight:
US$60.00 for 5 sets tents. And we will need 2 weeks to make and 3 weeks on the boat as sea is a little slower.
Price:
We have 2 size. One is small as 140cm x 240cm x 130cm . The price is the US$399.00 and one is the bigger size as extension 140x320x130 , The price is the US$429.00.
Not too sure which one is the RTT-002, doesn’t seem to match the sizes on their website…

10 min order on mine. All would need to factor in the duty and gst
RTT 003

Vs
RTT 002

Really comes down to choice i guess, I would only go for 003 as most of my mates run awnings and 002 won't work for us

I don't understand the different does the ladder go inside of the 002 ?? so it could go on the back or side??
but I must admit the 003 looks bigger and looks more like canvas I don't know if its the photo or what.

they'll both be made from a ripstop canvas, just different colours in the pics.

internally they are the same size mattress, just that the 003 had an extended fly/sides & an extra hoop that gives you a covered entrance & yes you do climb inside.

google arb's simpson II & III tents & you'll see interior shots of the 2.

no it's how it folds out, we all have our awnings on the left side, so 003 folds out backwards, 002 folds out to the left and interferes with the awning

Payed for the tents today. After all the bank fees and other garbage and exchange rate of 101.95usd the tents came to a total
Off $359.and change. Hopefully there won't be any GST but would only be $36 anyway.

Month delivery time is a long time for my attention span however.

Just a warning to people thinking about orginising a buy. You need to be aware that Aussie customs may want its share of cash, a recent buy I did they charged me around $800 taxes on a $3000 buy. Also if the product gets lost in transit or the mob you buy of end up being dodgy are you prepared to pay back the people that gave you money.
I only do group buys with people that I know and trust and that I could pay back if the shtf.
