Sierra 3rd bolts in and lines up properly.
But the oil reserve on the bottom fouls on the Vits front cross member.
Some creative manufacturing is needed,
depending on your set up

Right cv won't go thru the Sierras carrier,
so vits carrier is needed.
But you would just use the Sierra steel 3rd, with Vits internal bits.
I was going to put one in my vit, but was unable to do the work needed.

Research it more, as my memory could be faded

Can buy complete wrecks for $2k so $1000 for a steel diff is a bit exy. Be cheaper to buy a steel anvil diff housing.

True, but you'll still need a steel 3rd.

I would recommend these guys to anyone, got a mate at work who's doing a gti conversion on his clubman and they were more than happy to help out with info and worked out what he needed, also think he got a pretty good price too.
