hi i just pulled my vitaras engine apart more befor i was thinking that i could slap new bearing in it and be done with it untill i looked more its dead. so im after a g16a carby motor to put in it

I would just spend three hours hand linishing the crank with some fine emery tape and slap new bearings in. I did this to high pressure water blasting pump that heat seized and it has done over2500 hours on that repair. it was a big pump. and needed a 350 HP motor to run it.

cheers mate i ended up buying a standard carby engine for it as mine from just taking th bearings out of the crank had massive grooveon the edged of where the bearings sat no 1 con rod the bearings were spining freely in the con rod. the engine sounded like a bucket befor i took out of car its been nothing but problems my 1 litter sierra is way quicker even on same size tyres and the vit was doing about 16-19 Lp/100
