where is the cheapest place i can get one of these carb venturi fix kits?
low range off road has them but will cost me $60 with shipping.
anywhere in aus????

The US Samurai uses a Hitachi carb. Australian Sierra has an Aisan carb. These are designed for the Hitachi carb.

I have 2 of these I bought as genuine parts. They don't fit on an Aisan carb! They can't be shoved in either - the hitachi carb has a squared off hole in the casting and the Aisan carb has a brass pipe cut on an angle which is a different size.

This mod could probably be done DIY if you can find the right size tubing to do the job.

P.S. they cost me $25 ea. in Suzuki genuine packets. I've gotta remember to return them for credit sometime at a certain suzuki shop!

Weird how both carbs do the same annoying thing lol

Not sure. Only been owned by me for a week. Drives great. Just the slight hesitation

The issue is not just isolated to these two carbs, it occurs with every and any type of carb. Holley have brought out a kit to modify their carbs for steep angle work, and it is also factory fitted to their range of Truck Avenger carbs.
By far, the vast majority of carburettors are designed for applications where the engines generally operate at inclinations of up to 5 degrees. Even on normal cars, you can get flooding/starvation issues when climbing or descending long hills. Some carbs eliminate the issue by design, such as SU carbs, or even the types fitted to Tractors and Aero engines.

It's just one of the quirks you get used to with a carb engine.
