Trying to explain to the kids how we used to type letters using a typewriter. They just dont get the concept and continue to ask where the printer is.

So does anyone have an old typewriter they no longer want or can loan? Would love to get one or even just borrow one to show the kids how they work.

Haha the other day me and a mate had to explane to his 8 year old what a cassette was :lol: he had the weirdest look on his face and just wouldn't beleave us :roll:

maybe check out gumtree for something local.... couldn't tell you the last time i saw a typewriter.

I've got a 1920s (IIRC) one but you can't have it. :P Type writers are awesome!!! Armsup

Gumtree and op shops are the place to look. :)
