I am looking for another rear seat from a sierra soft top.

I thought I had a pair of good seats, but when stripping them down for recovering found that one had a badly damaged and crushed frame under all the foam.

The condition of the upholstery and foam doesnt matter- as long as the frame is ok.

cheap is preferable!

There are some in a WT Sierra at the wreckers down here, the upholstery is stuffed but I'l check out the frames next time I'm there.

I wouldn't count on them, the car has a lot of damage in odd places(hasn't been crashed, just looks ex farm) and I expect the seats copped it too. It looks like there's been some unrestrained weight in the back or something, could be okay though.

Mine both looked perfectly straight- until I took them apart for recovering- and found that the backrest for one is cactus from something real heavy being dropped on it.
You would have no idea about the damage from external appearance, possibly might have been a bit more uncomfortable than usual though!

I called past the old farm at Bindoon on the way back from a run to Newman/ Yandi/ Hope Downs 1 and 4 this morning.
Thought I would check out what is left of frankenzook
She is no longer there- so I guess she got moved to the other block at Donnybrook- as spares for 2zook.
But under the shed (which has collapsed) I can see a few leftovers.
There is a LJ50 gearbox housing, IIRC with leftover LJ80 internals inside it, a clutch, pedal box, and probably a few other bits and pieces.
Do you have a use for them?
If so, I will organise myself and go and dig whatever is left from under the shed.
