Doing what?

You've been told numerous times what you need to run 31's, but you don't seem interested, and you keep banging on about shackles. So you want someone to tell you that you need long shackles to run 31's?

Do a leaf over its easy just flip your diffs over and bolt em on under the springs then screw a couple of four inch bits of wood in between your body and chassis , then you'll be right for 35s mate.

Is that what you wanted to hear??

Ok I'm going to take some photos and post up in the morning plus i know wht I'm going to do I just need shackles for now for my beach run on the 20th my bro said I need 4"inch shackles and modded bump stop to stop it bottoming out on the well the I hav to grind off the sharp edges on the on the front side step area and take as much of the bull bar back where it bolts on as possible then when I get a new job do it all up properly because I hav a spear side under door plates to replace them

sorry jake but let me get this right, you want to fit 31's to your stock sierra so you can do a beach run? You may not be aware but a sierra with stock gearing and 31's is a horrible combination for sand and your clutch won't last long. Your sierra will be much more capable on the sand with the stock tyres you are running at the moment.

Stop being a numpty and listen to the people who are trying to give you some great advice. Stop and take your time to read through what everyone has told you..Here is where you can buy the requested shackles. If you don't want to spend this much then creat a less confussing wanted thread with you exact requirements (eg exact shackle length) or you could always make your own shackles if you can weld.

SIERRA EXTENDED SHACKLES $259.00 FREE POST

This bloke has heaps of them pompoms pompoms

If you would like an alternative to fitting long shackles and don't really want to spend a heap of money here is the information

Put a 25mm spacer on the front bumpstop.
Hammer your guards smooth.
Bolt the 31's on.

This method is possible, just get a big hammer and massage the inner parts of the guard that get in the way of the 31's.

Which option ? You've been given a few. You still need to engineer Ruf if that's what your worried about.
People are going to think you are really just the stick farmer in disguise.

Then stick with standard tyres or 50 mm bigger tyres only and two inch suspension lift cause everything else needs to be engineered including longer shackles.

In W.A we have different laws.

IIRC you're allowed up to 50mm of lift, 15mm of that can come from an increase in tyre size. So you're allowed to have a 30mm increase in tyre diameter provided you have 35mm of other lift, or less.

Aside from a lack of diff clearance, stock tyres are the best for sand, having said that mine went pretty well anywhere on sand with 30x9.5s but the power lost turning such heavy tyres really sucked.

A Suzuki's biggest limitation on sand is a lack of power, don't make it worse by fitting larger tyres.
