Hey guys. What is this?
I noticed on the other side is a pin that is up against the back of the ring gear. Just curious what it does and how it would affect the (dis)assembly of the centre compared to the Sierra centre.

IIRC That's a load bolt - it's there to prevent excessive distortion of the ring gear - it shoudn't affect disassembly, It should just run very close to , but not in contact with, the ring gear. What model did that centre come from - GV?

Note though, I haven't disassembled one myself, I'm just going from what it is/does. I guess you'd just have to set it up so the clearance was the same as it is now. Might actually be a useful guide for dropping the centre back in.

Steve.

I figured it would be something odd like that.
I'm not sure, Darkhorse may have a better idea. Although, it is a 12 bolt ring gear if that helps.

Thanks Steve.
