Hi guys,

Basically, I Bent the front diff on my suzuki Jimny and am fixing it at the moment.

I have stripped everything of the old diff bar the diff center and old axles.

But, i cant remove the old axles :/ They are bent and it means that what ever i do i cant pull them out. This is a problem because it is stopping me from getting the diff center out which is all i need to finish of my new diff.

Does anyone know a way of doing this? Method?

All help is much appreciated

Thanks

what are you doing with the old diff housing?

if your throwing it put a grinder through the axle tubes to free off the pressure.

What way is it bent ? have you taken all the diff head fasteners out ? That may give you enough wriggle room to get the axle out by leavering up one side to releave the other etc , won't take much . Otherwise its cut the diff housing tubes as the guys have said .

I recently had to use sledge hammer and crow bars to get a hilux center out as not only were both tubes bent but the diff head face and housing area was bent and pinching the head so it would not come out . ( was a modified head so had a bit less clearance than standard :) )
