yes yes i know... I like the smell of my own clutch but
seeing I'm swapping engines from the g16a back to the g16b
I thought I'd get a newer heavy duty clutch

can anyone recommend what they have used and how much
I'd b looking around to pay for one ???

unless you like changing clutch cables don't put a heavy duty clutch in it.

Ring NPC CLUTCHES(archerfield)!!!!they are so switched on!highly recomened!I got a modified heavyduty clutch to suit my turbo sierra,i think it cost the $250-$300(around there) and that included couriering it to me!

i replaced the clutch bout 6mnths ago when we put the g16a
its either rooted or there oil on it

They are on boundary road archerfield. Used them through work a few times very helpfull and know what they are talking about.

i did 3 cables in one weekend that was a heavy duty RPM piece of shit

i put a standard clutch back in and have had no problems. i also tow heavy
trailers where there are no roads with no dramas. i have a 1.6 with sierra clutch.

i have had no issues with me exedy tough clutch never even looked at needing to replace the cable

If you have an aftermarket transfer gear set a near standard clutch should be OK. I have a G16A with Weber 32/32, mild cam and headers that is just fine utilising an Exedy 1.3 clutch. Nice pedal, nice grip and nice price from ABS. I run 31s, 5.14 transfer and 3.9 diffs.

repco- 1.3 standard $140
autobarn- 1.3 excedy $180
supercheap- 1.3 standard $99
all brake & clutch supplies- 1.3 standard $220
- 1.3 excedy $349

Thanks, I'm not too sure but in the end i will get gears for it, i run 31's wit 3.9... i believe i still have a 1ltr transfer case though with no gears

Bailey's brake and Clutch (mining street Bundamba):
Excedy clutch kit, with new spigot bearing, and new throwout bearing = $195.
Thats what My dad bought about a month ago.

Yeah the guys at NPC (Archerfield) do know their clutches quite well, they made up the hybrid job for the Hilux.

oh kk.. i done some researching on clutches... each clutch obviously fits each gearbox of the clutch...

a clutch for the f10 is 180mm by 20.3 spline by 18 teeth
a clutch for the g13 is 190mm by 22.4 spline by 20 teeth
a clutch for the g16 is 215mm by 22.75 spline by 20 teeth
