My zooki is running rough.
A hose is off, I am wondering if this has anything to do with it running bad. See pic 1. Where is this hose supposed to be plugged in?
When I suck on the hose it seems to make it run better. However the fumes make me light headed and I fall over then the motor goes back to running like crap.
I could hook the hose up to the inside of the cab and suck on it while I'm driving but that will interfere with the reading that I plan on doing whilst driving. 
If anyone has any ideas as to where the hose rightfully belong (hey hey hey none of those smutty thoughts round here plz) I would be greatfully indebted to your sons first born.
Oh and pic 2 shows a hose coming out of the rocker cover then back into the inlet manifold... is that right?

In relation to pic 2.
The hose going from the rocker to the manifold is the PCV system.
This is what allows the engine to breathe.
The fitting screwed into the inlet manifold that the red hose connects to is a one way valve.
The other end of the T piece goes to the filter box.

i recon that it is not a sierra carby or at least it
is very different to the carbys i have.

Yes Shep, I popped the bonnet on one of mine before to try to help and that's diff to mine as well. I kbow mine is a std sierra carb.

it is very similar to a sierra carb though, but it does not have the air mixture set up on the front instead it has that hose. Maybe that is what your problem is. the normal carbies have a set up on the front that you can adjust the air/fuel mixtures at idle and throughout the start of the rev range. It also should have a hose going from this set up to the air filter box if i remember correctly?

That looks like the unleaded version of the barina carby. On ours i blanked it off, all you need to do is remove the solenoid part (3 screws), get a pair of multigrips or something and CAREFULLY work the other piece out, it's just pressed it. Use a mig to seal the end off, making sure you dont block the fuel inlet hole. Once it's cooled off, line the hole in the side of it up with the hole in the carby and tap it back in. Thats what I did and it works great.

Yeah the mix screw is on e the side against near the rocker cover... damn near impossible to adjust it!!!

Barina? hmmm thanks for that info I will follow up on that!
