Been through a bit of water lately and tones of water blasting after being up the beach... I've noticed that when I take off from a stand still or stop I can hear a tone of water sloshing around in the sills.

Question is...... Do I drill a hole, how big ? Screw size or larger with rubber bung ?

There will be folds in the sheet metal to drain it out, I'd say they're blocked.

They should have drain points along the seam underneath. You might just need to clear those out to get the water out

Edit: what he said ^^^^

My Vitara did same. My water was in the front guards area.
Drain holes were blocked from wheel arch bashings.
I drilled holes, and modified my sliders, to drain mine.
Drilled holes in sliders, too, to keep them drained.

Thanks guys you were bang on...

I looked underneath , found the holes and thought... It doesn't look blocked to me

Got the compressor cranking and got up under there with the air gun...... Next minute I had a huge waterfall pouring out onto the ground.

Cheers
