ARG i can't find the earth wire for the head lights??? There is one just under the windscreen wipers in the engine bay but tthats the only one i've found loosely related to the head lights... i pull the back off the bright head light and the other one goes bright then i connect them again and they both work high beam and low beam... then when i try again the light thats dull is good then it goes crazy again choosing when it want's to work...grrr

Suzuki headlight wiring is back to front. Positive switches to negative when lights are on.. Its a strange concept but it seems to work.

Run a new seperate earth for each headlight!?!?

try the link, it has a great diagram relating to spotlights but will work the same way.. hell maybe you might want to wire the spotties up while your at it!!

they dont go positive to negative they are negative switch, the power you see on the switch wires is fed through the bulb

try swapping the lights left to right and see if the fault follows so you can determine if its the bulb or the wiring

may also be worth cleaning the dip switch with some contact clean
