I have had to take mine in an out multiple times, It is not that big of a job.
In the picture below, you can see all you have to undo is two bolts where it connects to the transmission. And then you have to unplug the trigger wire, and undo the power supply wire. Three bolts all up, so no biggy.
Although, if you haven't taken it out before, it might need a little smack with a rubber mallet (after you have undone the bolts) to get it moving. Then you will need to maneuver it out past all the cables and etc that is in the way. I would say it might take you 1 - 1.5 hours if you haven't done it before.
