all the G series engines the marks line up when rocking no 4.

but in reality it doesn't matter what cylinders are doing what, just go with the marks, also note which mark (I or E) lines up and which keyway hole is used on the Cam pulley before pulling it apart

That's my problem ..... When rocking No 4 the marks don' t line up with E at the top like all manuals and info are saying.

Yea normally I do ...BUT. I didn't pull it apart and the cam has been moved.
My main problem is all the forums say to have the E on top and locater lug of cam shaft at bottom and when I do this No 1 is rocking not No 4. And so far I've tried all different positions and still can' get it to fire. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.......sigh!
