hey all

have a G16B Automatic Transmission to get rid of.

$100* - OBO(seriously best offer)
condition: it worked sweet when we pulled it out of an X-90 almost a year ago! has been water proofed ever since!!!

G16b will usually mean it's a aw4 + the fact it came out of an x-90 I'd almost guarantee it's a 4 speed.

it's a 3 speed box with over drive, making it a "4" speed auto :)

1996 Suzuki Vitara 1.6L Auto box (X-90 / SWB Vitara - same running gear different body)

I'm interested, I've pm'd you with my number. The manual in my Vit is howling at speed and grumbling at idle, so I'd like to round up the bits for this conversion.

have gotten a fair few replys to this so far.

i will not be delivering. it's pick up or organize pick up and courier happy to be there when a courrier picks up!

how many kms did the x90 have on it?

anyone know if these autos were the same as the ones in the 2.0v6?

i'll have to get pics for ya! believe it's the entire unit though (selling for my dad) he's told me it's still there only the 'stalk' shifter is missing but apparently you use the one that's in ya car already! sooo

but I will go over there this week and get some pics for ya :)

this is still for sale, last three people have all just never picked up and never gotten back in touch with me...
feel free now I know I have access to this any time and such! I'm happy to help offload any way possible and assist with loading / unloading.
I finish work every day around 3:30pm however can always be contacted on here...

Will it bolt to a 1990 1.3??? Sorry for the noob question... Sierras are a whole new kettle of fish for me :(

I'd presume it'd be easier to bolt it to a 1.6 and transplant the lot?

ummmm... it came out an an X-90 1996 G16B engine... I really wouldn't know I'm just trying to get rid of the thing lol and I agree with you Gwagensteve... seems impossible am I asking for too much. I personally don't think so.. might put it on gum tree if no one wants it...

still keen... just been flat out with other stuff :roll:

trying to work out how much freight will cost me to adelaide, there is an e-go depot in port mac. could be put on a skid, any idea of a size and weight?
