Gets guys new the zook world, just picked up a mint 94 vitara swb and I've found a complete write off fuel injected model just wondering what I need out of it to do the conversion on my carby one and what I need to know and not know about doing the conversion thanks in advance
This is in the wrong section, it should be in the N00B section of the Suzuki talk forum, it will probably get moved.
Easiest probably to just change motor and the engine loom + computer and the dash console whole.
It gets slightly more complicated if one is an auto and one is not, but changing the whole lot again makes it easier. Its a super easy job all over, I'm guessing its your first so if you give yourself a weekend and start on Friday you will be driving on Sunday probably. A lot of guys here would bang it out in a day.
If you havent already dove in with the write off, your probably better off going for a Baleno motor, newer, coil pack and less reports of cracked blocks so far. search on here for baleno motor.
