The ute has developed a problem over the last thre days after replacing the spark plugs, coolant change and oil change. The car drives normaly bette than it ever has but when i slow down and stop anywhere after driving for a little (i am guessing once its warmed up) the idle drops until it stalls out. It usually starts back up no problem but after doing it a few times it has allot of trouble starting, needing more right foot to start it.

I have been searching the forum and from what i can tell it might be a blocked idler jet. but i am unfamilar with the F10a carby to make things worse i plan to be doing a bit of a long distance drive in the next 6 days.
I have tried swapping the 1st and 4th leads to get it to backfire through the carby but it hasent solved the problem, and ajusting the idle screw, making it idle slightly higher seams to only help when cold.

Any help would be wicked as it has me stumped

I have solved the problem, after rebuilding the carby i noticed fuel coming out of the breather line from the crank case to the air box. Turns out i had a sump full of fuel, my fuel pump had a split diaphram and was basically pumping my full tank into my sump :/ new fuel pump and she is ready to go again.

Yeah,that can mix is extremely dangerous,can explode under heat & pressure,it used to happen to BMC FWD cars,Mini,1100,1800 etc.
