After getting my motor rebuilt and putting it back in the overdrive light is flashing.
hotwired the diagnostic plug and its giving me the code 51, can anyone tell me what this code means?

also getting engine code 13 which I think is temp sensor.

i'll look it up as soon as I got access to my pc at home, got the Suzuki manual on there.

51 is EGR valve and 13 is o2 sensor

Sorry I should have been more clear. The the auto and engine have different computers and different diagnostic plugs.
51 was the fault code in the auto comp
Just rechecked and 14 was for the engine comp (not 13)

Just had a look back through the manuals I have, can't find anything for 51 for trans code, then realised that you've got an sv620, and I'm looking at sv416 manuals :roll:
14 is water temp though for what it's worth

Thanks, thats the same trouble I'm having, I cant find codes for a sv.

code 51 is Wire of ECM to AT controler, Open circuit of ECM to A/T controler, 4th (O/D) gear OFF as it reads across the page from the manuel. Hope this helps.

It looks like it is from the auto control module to the engine control module but I am only guessing. So it could be a speed sensor a relay or a wire off or shorted ??
