I tried searching but it drops out and reference I tyr for the grand vitara .
I am considering selling the diesel disco I have and going back to a grand vitara 1998+ . I had a 2.0 diesel and short story I hastilly sold it when I got the disco . I am looking at going back to a GV but the issue is I have to tow my 4x4 around and thats about 1100kg all up . The old diesel GV was just ok for this but warmed up a little under load . The service guys said it was normal etc but it was a little unnerving seening the temp guage that high .

So I was after some real world fuel useage from someone running the j20 and h25 in a gv . Not sure I would be lucky enough to find someone runing the 2006 model with a 2.4 but can only ask .

I have a 2010 2.4 auto and the worst economy I have had was 18L per 100km towing 1200kg at 120kph after getting a load of shit fuel. Normally it's around 14-14.5L at 120. Car has a ARB winch bar and AT tyres which both affected the economy.
