This feels much closer to a camper now.
Decided on a swag mattress, thinner but denser, keeping more headroom, but good enough support.
Should be warm enough in a camper, as a swag is normally on the ground.
Was a tad too wide, but next sizes down were too small.
Perfect fit lengthways.
Thought I'd better make the bed for the photo.

While you're busy rocking the shed inside, are you concerned that you could get locked in if someone came along and flicked your outside latches closed?

No, my friends are all well behaved types. 8)

And they are designed to be easily removed from the inside. :)

Plus they are hooked into 240V power

Extra pillow is for Princess, of course, can't expect her to rough it.

Art will come, when I know what bits of wall need hiding

Contrary to the old saying, two wrongs can make a right.

I realised later in the day that I had measured the fan size I wanted wrong.
So I checked ebay to see if I could change the order.
Only to find I had ordered wrongly, but it was the perfect size I had ordered.
Sometimes Ya win :)

Porch and entry hall lights all done.
Teardrop shape light is to pay homage to original teardrop builds.
(Was easiest way to fit, too)
Waterproof LED's possibly usually on the fronts of street cars?
Happy with the air the computer fan pushes, and it was a good fit.
Mostly in hot weather door will be open, but fan is also for airing out camper after trips etc)
If doing anything similar, note not all computer fans are 12V, so shop carefully.
Recycled the left over Perspex to booty fab a switch box,
and the flaps to stop bedding sliding off (also keep bedding out of the vent)
Extra power outlet at rear fitted,
to stop me needing to climb in to use power, unless I off to Noddy Land.
Fuse box is on order, but looks like it won't arrive till after Easter break.
(All the interstate purchases came quick, kind of thought the local stuff would, but alas)

Fitted up the fly screen and finished fitting up the fuse box and power today.

That is the last of the planned jobs, so YEE HAA it is finished. :woohoo:

Will be fitting new shox, and a fire extinguisher in the near future.

Now to catch up on the neglected tasks on the Vit.

I watched all of this and Tip my hat to you christover1 - Great job - I took the easy way out and just got a ready made trailer and whacked a tent on top of it but it does have a queen size bed.

I think you will get years of happy camping long after my canvas has rotted away

Thanks Tony.
I have been towing it around all arvo with a big smile on

First proper trip is Mid May.
The Myswag forum (off road camper trailer forum) started a trip just for me to Christen the camper.
Glad I finished in time, be embarrassing not going.

That's cheaper than the internet.
Was looking at Bunnings $20 ones.
I have one in the car, so I decided to fit a fire blanket and a smoke alarm instead.
May import a light weight one later, as the 1KG ones are quite heavy to strap down to plywood.

Did some proper off road testing today, at a club day.
Pix will come, and possibly vids next week.
Very pleased with it, but does need much better shocks and mounting positions.

From personal experience - 1kg is the minimum you want for a small fire. Diff blowing, knocking a stove over etc.

Supercheap/repco have sales regular enough too.

Looking good!
