i took my coily down some dirt roads yesterday and now she just stalls when i come to a hol she was all fine and dandy before that. All the plugs seem to be in should i try adjusting the idle ?? any help would be greatful

there is a plug under the carbie with a hex head. Undo that and it will drain your carbes water choke, then re fill and check. My shorty gets stuck on sometimes and that has fixed it every time...lol

Let me guess...drives fine doesn't miss, just stalls when you try to idle!! I had the same problem...carbie. Luckily i had a spare. Try cleaning with a proper carbie cleaner, if not more terminal, carby shop or someone who knows more about them on here will be able to help.

Check that a vacuum hose hasn't come off too (or split).

Maybe the carby is proply fuked!!

idle solenoid, i had endless problems with mine. found a new one in a packet behind a shelf when i was helping suziworx move lol, fixed it up

funny thing is i just drove it now its alot cooler she runs 110% not a bother on her only seems to be stallling in the day when is hot ?

this happned to my coily to. got my mate to rev it to 3 or 4 then blocked off the air intake so it would clean the jets then ran fine, adjusted the timing and now it runs like a beauty and uses heaps less fuel. i set my timing at 8.5 b t d c what does everyone else recommend?
