Just need to check if I have this right. Checking if I have the distributor and rotor set up correctly. With the two camshafts and the crank all at their correct locations for installing a timing belt, as per the attached diagram, is this the firing position for the No. 1 cylinder? (IE with the rotor button pointing at the terminal for No.1.) Thanks! :)

Yes. IIRC cylinder #1 is the closest to the firewall

Thanks for that. I think that No 1 is usually the one closest to the timing gear. One and 4 are both at TDC at the moment, hopefully with the correct one at the top of the compression stroke!
