Hi I have a seirra stockman 1.3 and I am wanting to put a m16a motor in it from a new swift. I am wondering if the stock gear box will bolt up or will I need a bell housing conversion? any info would be very helpful

No it wont fit. You will need a jimny gear box and then swap the rear section of the gear box from the sierra box and bolt onto the jimny box to get the gear stick to sit in the correct position from memory after looking into this conversoin a couple of year ago. The jimny runs a remote shifter mechanism

Thank you, What model of Jimmy or gear box would fit? Can you just get a bell housing from the Jimmy ? im not to worried about the shifter position to much. I guess I will need to fab a new tail shaft as well? Fly wheel ? Starter? Clutch?

No you can't just use bell housing from the jimny. Shouldn't need new shafts, all depends where the engine ends up sitting. I'd say you will need a jimny clutch but unsure about fly wheel and starter
