Hey guys,

I have a 95 LWB Vitara JLX. 5 speed manual , 330k km

I have had it for a year and it has been awesome until recently where it has developed some minor running problems that I am sure someone switched on with mechanics could fix, its just I don't want to spend any more money or time trying to fix it as I have another car.

UPDATE: Car is fixed and running again(It was just a vacuum leak causing the stalling), My mechanic did advise that after the new injectors were put in it would just needs a tune up as its a big sluggish in low rpm.

While I was at it I also removed the EGR and cleaned it up as well as the IAC.

So in summary its had alot of new parts thrown at it recently:

- New clutch cable and adjustment
- New timing belt
- New water pump and all crank and cam seals
- New spark plugs and leads
- New Ignition coil
- New Ignition module
- Injectors rebuilt, reconditioned and tested (AFI Newcastle)

It comes with a spare dizzy as well.

The previous owner had put in a new radiator just before I bought it too.

It has a few mods:

-Extractors / exhaust
-Snorkel
-USB MP3 Headunit
-4x Bridgestone Dueler Mud Terrains 235/75r15 (near new, have not done much mileage on them).
-15x8" -13 Steel wheels
-1x Bridgestone Dueler Mud Terrain 235/75r15 spare on same 15x8 -13 wheel (low tread) and also has a second identical tyre not on a rim spare as well

It has no rust in it as far as I can see besides some tiny bits of surface rust from stone chips, so the body and chassis is pretty good condition. I have never taken it on a beach and the last owner had it sitting on his property as a get around car for his wife for years.

Paint is fair condition with the usual clear coat peel as found on most vitaras.

I still got 10L/100km town driving with the muddies on it which is pretty decent, and it was about 8.5L/100km with highway trips.

It has rego until January 2015 in NSW and I have serviced it every 5000km. The coolant was done under 1000km ago too when the water pump and timing belt was done.

I am after $2000 and won't go lower. Buyer would have to pick it up from Newcastle, NSW.

Its a bit dirty in these pictures sorry

UPDATE: SEE ORIGINAL AD / COMMENT BELOW. FIXED

Nah it turns on but stalls. It was drivable (with a low rpm misfire) before I done the injectors. I took off the TB and some other bits so I suspect a vacuum leak.

This week in my free time I will be checking all vacuum bits/ putting gasket sealer on everything, and having a go at removing the EGR to clean it.

OK UPDATE

It was just a vacuum leak. I also cleaned the EGR while I was at it. The car is now DRIVABLE. Its a big sluggish down low rpm, but is perfectly fine to be driven. The mechanic said it would need a full tune up after I put the new injectors in so that should fix it right up.

Still looking to get rid of it $2000, about 1.5-2 months rego left.
