My Coily Sierra caught fire due to and electrical problem and as a result I lost my fusebox, instrument cluster and Dashboard partly melted. I need suggestions on Dash swaps as its becoming difficult to find a replacement dashboard and cluster in Seychelles. Does a Jimny Dashboard fit in easily into a Coily Sierra SJ80? What other options should I try?
Where can I get a coily Sierra Dashboard for shipping to Seychelles?

I would get onto one of the Japanese parts exporters, these days the larger ones have English speaking staff and have the expertise to organise shipping.

Just out of interest what caused the fire,overloaded/shorted wire? ,first one i've heard of.

According to my assessment after the incident, there was a wire tapping direct from the positive terminal of the battery to power the radio (which was not working at the time). This wire was placed there by the previous owner and has been in place for a year. This is the one that overheated causing fire to plastic flammable parts around the fuse box.

I saw smoke coming from behind the tachometer one morning as i was going to work. I switched off the engine, parked by the road side and called the mechanic to come check it out then i walked to work. After ten minutes i get a call from police, "sir, your car is in fire".

Can you possibly suggest a few good exporters? Thanks.

I'm sure there are folk on this Forum that could suggest a reliable parts exporter.
