I have an sj80 with busted rear diff.

I also have a complete 1993 suzuki vitara.

Is it possible to swap front and rear diffs from the vitara into the sj80 to keep the ratios the same? Even if this means cutting and welding to the diffa is it possible or has anyone a better idea for this sj80?

I understand the sj80 runs a unique diff ratio

SJ80 rear centre is interchangeable with NT Sierra being 3.9 ratio.

SJ80 front is reverse cut so can't be swapped with Vitara.

'93 Vitara (will be 4.6 or 5.1 ratio) front ring & pinion only is swappable into Sierra but can't be put in an SJ80 front diff.
