Hi all, i'm in need of a wiring diagram for the air con setup in a 1992 suzuki sierra. I have a Gregory's manual for Sierra/Vitara but the A/C diagram is for sidekick/tracker models and is completely different. I think something is missing from the passenger footwell as the wire from the control box to the compressor clutch has been cut and has had spade terminals fitted, and i can't get the thermo fan to work. And lastly the idle up switch has been disconnected at the plug in the footwell (orange and orange/black wires). Any chance of a close up photo of the control box, thermo rleay and idle up plug wires for a comparison? Any help is much appreciated, Thanks Jack

Had no luck. I ended up drawing my own diagram but never figured out why the compressor wouldn't cut in unless fan speed was flat out. I just ran a few wires and a new relay for the compressor and it should be all good now. Just needs gas now.
You most likely had a defective fan switch - the ac amp won't turn the compressor on unless it knows the fan is on, and the fan switch usually has a separate set of contacts that serves that purpose. If all of the fan speeds work it should be possible to "trick" it by using a diode OR gate.
You wont find a factory wiring diagram because they NEVER came with factory air con (at least here in the E24 market). all air con installs into sierra would of been a "dealer" option which were made up of a kit developed by Suzuki Australia and sourced from aftermarket suppliers (or other markets?) to offer as an option up.
I have factory sierra service manuals and sierra parts lists with every part of the car as it came from factory and none mention any air con part.
sierra brainanuerism .. the a/c has a pressure switch that wont turn on the compressor if it doesnt see pressure in the system.
