Hi thought I would introduce myself and give some background.

I had my first taste of 4x4 in a mates Sierra chasing bunnies around the sand dunes when I was 14.
After my first car died from driver abuse I finally got enough money to purchase my first vitara.
She was a 2 door soft top jlx carby had a blast in that lil beast but none of my friends liked or owned 4x4s so I sold her.

Few years later I met my partner who's family is into the scene a bit more they convinced me to purchase a patrol. So I bought Gu pet/gas had nothing but dramas with it spent a fortune on it fixing death wobbles in the steering. Finally got that sorted and took it to a 4x4 shop for swivel hub replacement came back with leaking front diffs and a $900 bill saying they just greased everything as it looked OK. That was the straw that broke the camels back and the annoyance of working on a large car in the driveway is a pain.( the Mrs. Rally swift had way more kms half the price and not one fault)

I Purchased an 2002 XL-7 and love it easy to work on reliable and 10 times quicker on the road and up hills.
She already the following
Iron man nitro gas shocks
HD Spring lift 2"
Custom exhaust has a great note
225/75/16 Khumo Roadventure M/Ts ( I don't like them personally noisey and rub )
DVD/ gps head unit
HD tow bar 1.8T

Upgrades in very near future
Trans cooler as I tow a small runabout tinny weighs about 650kgs max with all gear fuel camping stuff etc..
A/T tyres that don't rub happy to go back to standard size less steering issues later on
Custom drawers as I am currently pulling rear seats out
Head unit upgrade to support Ozi maps and head rest DVD screens for the threenager in the back.

Not sure how to post photos but will of my upgrades I am thinking of a dual pass trans cooler with elec fan manually operated on the cool return pipe.. Any photos or suggestions of others would be great.

Hope to see fellow zook owners out on the tracks
