Picked up a Grand Vitara 3.2 V6 About a year ago now... what a great car and best thing is its towing ability...

Anyway to the point. It's finally due for some tyres and time to ditch the Higgway Terrains and put some A/T's on it... but...

It has 18" Alloys.... grrrrr

Cannot find an A/T tyre to suit...

So plan B is to drop back to 17" rims. Cant see any issues as every other model came with 17"s

Possible Issue... Tyre placard only states 18" ... not 17&18" like other makes... Insurance? bla bla bla...

Suggestions anyone?

Also anyone got a set of 17" Alloys lying around they'd like to part with?

It Seems they've removed the limit on wheel diameter, unless I missed it. limited only by 10 up or down on the aspect. Note also to confirm if your model is considered 4wd our soft roader.
