So apparently Hyundai Excel brake lines are a bolt on fit for extended lines on a Sierra.
After driving around for an hour going to all the usual parts suppliers it turns out apparently they aren't all the same.....

No one had any items of any of the variations in stock for me to look at, but going by the drawings they had I'd say part # H1821 look to be the right ones.

Before I waste $70 odd buying a set online that will most likely be wrong, can anyone confirm this part number is the correct one or tell us where you got yours from?

G engined swifts are alot longer than sierra ones (almost too long). Wreckers arnt legally allowed to sell you 2nd hand ones. Brake lines are pretty important, $70 is cheap for new extended ones when your lifes at risk

Yeah wasn't commenting on the cost of the new ones, more just that I didn't want to spend that money 2 or 3 times trying to find the right ones.

The pre 1991 Hyundai ones look right in the pictures and all the NEW parts suppliers can get them, just no one actually had them for me to look at and say for sure they'd work for me.

I've read heaps of times in here to use these lines as a bolt on solution, just no one has ever actually said which model/year/part number....

Gave them a call, rough budget price was $50-$60 per hose.
That was the Repco 'super special' discounted price for each of the Excel ones.
Looks like the over the counter solution is not as easy as I'd hoped, so might as well just get a set made that I know will fit then....

I was one of the first to use excel lines on my zook. it definitely wasn't a popular choice in the days before i did it any way.

I believe mine were 92 excel. i got them off a second hand 92 excel at a wreckers and ive used them on both my sierra and also my lj ever since.

I used 90s swift, they really were to long and needed a twist to keep them off the tyres.

Measure it up and get them made.
Cost me $100 for both front, adr approved, correct length and brand new with warranty. Don't know why people go second hand for the sake of $30ish bucks.

Edit. I wouldn't feel confident knowing my used brake lines of 10,20,30yrs are at optimal performance.
